Why I chose this program/location for my training
I chose to pursue residency training at Trinity Health Grand Rapids to gain diverse and clinically rigorous pharmacy practice experience with a supportive, caring and immensely skilled group of preceptors. It was evident to me throughout the interview process that each member of the pharmacy team was deeply committed to fostering my success and growth.
Additionally, I was excited by the opportunity to practice in niche areas such as renal transplant and HIV, among others. I feel lucky that I am challenged and encouraged every day to reach my full potential as a new pharmacist.
Hobbies/what I do outside of work
When I'm not at work, you can usually find me outside (swimming, hiking, biking, skiing, but probably not running). I also love to read, practice yoga, listen to podcasts, drink lots of pumpkin cream cold brews, watch TV/sports and catch up with friends/family over a good meal or new restaurant. As a Cleveland, Ohio native, I've loved getting to explore all of what Grand Rapids/West Michigan has to offer!
