Why I chose to practice in Grand Rapids...

When I started NP school I was working as a nurse on the neuroscience unit at Trinity Health. The collaboration and growth within the neurosciences motivated me to continue in this field. Throughout my time here as a Neuro APP I have been able to work with our neuro-hospitalists, neurosurgeons and general neurologists, prior to subspecializing. I have also enjoyed the opportunities to support research in the neurosciences as well.

I am currently working on my PhD, with an interest in dietary interventions to improve function in Parkinsons. Any additional free time is spent outside (running, hiking, biking) or with my family watching movies or cooking.
