Waited half hour from appointment time to seeing Dr, realize schedules are tight for them but if a nurse would come in after 20min explain Dr will be a bit longer but getting to me would help the wondering if they have forgotten about me. Staff is always professional and friendly in their office. Over all wonderful office.

Dr Freel is class act. He is kind, compassionate, and intelligent. He was able to diagnose my problem with one look. He explained my condition and assured me it is a common problem for post menopausal women. That took my worry away.

Wouldn’t change anything anyone did amazing
I had not been to an OB/GYN since having my hysterectomy (all removed but one ovary) ten years ago. My primary care had ordered yearly ultrasounds to monitor my remaining ovary (due to a gene mutation that I carry). After having a less than desirable experience at Trinity Health Grand Haven Hospitals ultrasound department, my primary care referred me to Dr. Freel for a consultation. I was impressed with the speed of which I was given an appointment in his office, the thoroughness of his office ultrasound technician as well as the follow up by Dr. Freel. It was decided to remove my remaining ovary. I asked Dr. Freel if I could have surgery at Trinity Grand Haven for my convenience because my husband worked there and I knew most everyone in OPS from previous surgeries I had. Dr. Freel was very accommodating even though I know it was a lot of work for his staff to obtain and coordinate a surgical date for me that worked with his schedule. My surgery was a breeze, all went well and I was really impressed when Dr. Freel sent me a message via MyChart to let me know that the pathology was clear prior to my follow up visit. I had a very nice experience with Dr. Freel and his office and I will highly recommend them to anyone in need of an OB/GYN
I’m just thankful that I was able to be referred to him; it’s nice to receive care that feels above and beyond, as I’ve experienced a lot of the opposite in years past as I’ve dealt with a lot of body system issues. So I have come to really appreciate the kind of care I experienced with Dr. Freel after a lot of past struggles .
